Emperor Han Wudi
In Ancient China, there were many emperors. One of them was named Emperor Han Wudi (Liu Che). Wudi was the seventh Emperor in the Han dynasty. He was one of China’s greatest emperors. His reign lasted for 54 years. This held a record for longest reigning Emperor. This achievement lasted for over 1800 years.
Wudi looked after his country and loved it very much. He made sure that the people of his country were caring for the environment and weren’t treating it badly. Han also loved his God very much. He helped people learn about him very much. He also made schools teach about Confucius better. Han Wudi was known for his love of poems and music. He even developed a musical bureau that actually turned out to be quite successful.
Emperors had a schedule of what they would do in a day. This is similar to the real emperor schedule:
5:30am - 7:00am: Get up, read a book and talk with friends.
7:00am - 9:30am: Breakfast
9:30am - 11:00am: Hold assembly with town and talk about current affairs happening around the country.
11:00am - 2:30pm: Have a break and eat lunch.
2:30pm - 5:00pm: Write poems, read books, paint pictures, enjoy music and go to operas with concubines.
5:00pm - 9:00pm: Have supper, hold a religious service, and go to bed.
